The one-ounce gold coin with the maple leaf is minted by the Royal Canadian Mint in pure gold 999.9 / 1000 and has legal tender in Canada. It was manufactured for the first time in 1979 by the Royal Canadian Mint (RMC) and was the first piece of such purity. The 1 ounce maple leaf is not only a viable investment of your heritage, but also a beautiful collector's item.
Description of the piece:
Face: maple leaf, symbol of Canada, purity in gold and face value.
Dry: The portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of England. The portrait was created by the renowned artist Arnold Machin. In the figure is the name of the queen and below is recorded the year of issue of the coin.
VAT: Gold (and additional services such as delivery, certificate of authenticity, etc.) is exempt from value added tax (VAT) in Switzerland and the European Union.
Silver (and additional services such as delivery, certificate of authenticity, etc.) is taxed at 7,7% in Switzerland, whether ingots or coins. In some European countries, the VAT rate is lower for coins than for ingots. In other European countries it is identical. In France, for example, the same rate applies to silver ingots and coins. If delivery is in Switzerland, Swiss VAT applies to silver (but gold is exempt). If delivery is to outside Switzerland, the customs duties and VAT of the destination country apply and must be paid by the recipient upon receiving the parcel.
